I’M A NIGHT OWL, IMPROV COPENHAGEN (Day 4)

Hello and welcome to day four of my Vlog. On this Vlog, it’s going to be much, much shorter & you won’t actually see my face in this Vlog because I actually slept the whole day and didn’t wake up until the evening so my schedule is really screwed up right now. It’s really funny that everywhere I go. It doesn’t matter if it’s in Europe, Asia, North America or South America, anywhere in the world. Eventually, I will default to being a night owl. I’ll be awake the whole night & when the morning comes, I’ll be tired & I’ll sleep the whole day. That’s very useful if I actually have work to do because I usually work best at night when it’s quiet and when nobody’s awake. But, when you are actually on holiday & trying to enjoy all of the attractions & all of the fun places to be, it’s not great that you are not awake during the day.

But, moving on. Today when I woke up I remembered that it was Wednesday & there is an improv comedy show in the city. So, I went to the improv comedy Copenhagen theater in the city, and they have shows from Wednesdays to Sundays, so I might be going more than once this week. For those of you don’t know who improv comedy is, here is an explanation from the host.

NEW JACKET, KFC LUNCH & MOVIES (Day 3)

Hello everyone, welcome to day 3 of my vlog here in Copenhagen. As you can see I am not wearing a jacket right now. Because yesterday I forgot to buy a new jacket. The down jacket was too heavy. So, now I am forcing myself not to wear a jacket. It’s nine degrees and it’s very cold. I’m walking towards a proper shopping mall so that my first goal of the day is to actually buy a hoodie or a smaller jacket. We will see if the shopping mall has my size or not.

So, I am in the shopping mall right now and it seems that there is a clothing store that has plus sizes for men. I’m going to see if that’s the case and see if I can get a nice jacket today.

MISSING WALLET AND VERY LONG WALKING TOUR (Day 2)

Alright, I was on my way to city hall to meet up for the free walking tour. Um, but I was almost there and I was thinking I forgot my wallet back home. So, I am not going to be doing the free walking tour today. I am going to go home and get my wallet and go back out again. Go shopping for some new shoes and jacket. Probably like a hoodie, like this jacket is, right now it is almost spring and it is like overkill.

So yea, we will see if my wallet is back home or if someone nicked it.  Um, yea I think it is back home because this morning I was rushing and I wasn’t paying attention. So hopefully it is there. So far I haven’t got any SMS notifications that my card has been charged. Usually, if someone nicks your wallet and you have a bunch of credit cards they will start immediately using it.

WHY I AM DAILY VLOGGING IN COPENHAGEN (Day 1)

Hello guys!

Right now I just arrived in Copenhagen, Denmark. So, I wasn’t recording anything last week because I was so busy with work but this week I don’t have that much work and for the next few days I will be attempting to do daily vlogging. Hopefully, it works out.

Yeah, right now first day in Copenhagen. Um, I just arrived at my Airbnb apartment and then I need to go get some snacks or cereal and milk at a supermarket or grocery store.  Yeah, we will see how it goes.

“You can never have too much Coca-Cola.”

So, I wanted to talk about the reasons why I decided to do daily vlogging for this week. I am a freelancer and as a freelancer sometimes you have work and sometimes you don’t have work. This week I don’t have work.

Becoming an Estonian E-Resident & Business Owner

TLDR? Skip to the end of the post to see the Timeline.

In 2017, I spent most of the year traveling across Europe. I really liked it. The freedom of travel within Schengen, diverse cultures and the way of living is way better than Malaysia. So I set out a goal to set up a base somewhere in Europe.

While digital nomading with Hacker Paradise, I discovered the Estonian E-Residency program. After a ton of research, I decided that I would apply for to become an E-Resident of Estonia.

Why Estonia? Their E-Resident program provides access to a borderless digital nation. They are like the Silicon Valley of Europe. They are the most digitally advanced society in the world! The government network even runs on blockchain technology so even if the nation comes under attack, the government will still exist and history cannot be rewritten by anybody.

Apart from being apart of an advanced digital nation, being an E-Resident would allow me to run a company remotely (since I now travel the world full-time) and utilize banking services within the EU. This means my business would all the benefits and protection the same with any EU company. Plus, it would be easier to deal with businesses globally with all the fintech solutions available with an EU-based business.
